Pet Parents Ki Backstory
Our Aim for the Support group:
Pet Parent ki Backstory is a specialized therapeutic space designed for the human at the end of the leash. While much of the pet world focuses on behavioral protocols and training commands, we hold room for the "backstory"—the profound emotional and psychological weight of modern caregiving. Utilizing the lenses of Expressive Arts and Drama & Movement Therapy, we move beyond traditional talk circles to explore the identity shift from "owner" to "parent," the reality of caregiver burnout, and the quiet, anticipatory grief of the "long goodbye." This isn't just a support group; it is an action-oriented journey to unmask the "superhero" expectations we carry, regulate our own nervous systems, and reclaim a relationship rooted in sustainable connection rather than chronic hyper-vigilance.
